The XIV Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-production Forum will take place on 25, 26 and 27 September 2018 within the framework of the 66th San Sebastian International Film Festival (www.sansebastianfestival.com).
This Forum is an ideal space in which to present a documentary project to potential funders and experts from the audiovisual and cinema sectors. A meeting point for professionals from the audiovisual sector linked to the documentary genre.
The Forum has three different phases: Workshops, Pitching Sessions, and Individual Meetings.
The Workshops are a training activity which takes place during the two days before the Forum starts (25th and 26th September). They offer producers an opportunity to develop their projects with professional experts who will provide the appropriate tools to extract the projects’ maximum potential.
The Pitching Sessions will take place on the morning of 27th September at the Palacio Kursaal, and the producers will present their projects before a panel of prominent Commissioning Editors. These sessions will have a moderator with expertise in the subject and will be simultaneously translated. The projects may be presented in Spanish and English. The pitching time for each project will be 10 minutes.
On 27th September, in the afternoon, the program will be complemented with an agenda of one-to-one meetings between the Commissioning Editors and the representatives of the presented projects, with the aim of specifying possible collaboration agreements.
The program will be accompanied by a series of parallel activities that will try to bring the public closer to the reality of European cinema and culture.
Don’t miss this opportunity to register your project.
