The Lau Haizetara Documentary Co-Production Forum will grant, for the first time, a prize for the best project presented during the pitching day this coming 28th September

Twelve projects will compete for the prize which will be awarded by IBAIA and which will have a financial value of €3,000.

Within the framework of the 13th edition of the Co-Production Forum, organised by IBAIA (Association of Independent Audio-Visual Producers of the Basque Country) in collaboration with the Industry Club of the San Sebastian Film Festival, which will be held between the 26th and 28th September in San Sebastián, IBAIA, with the aim of taking another step forward in the development process of quality documentary genre projects and in the collaboration to set them in motion, will award a prize of €3,000.

The Panel of Commissioning Editors, acting as the jury, will choose the winning project, based on the presentation, originality, treatment and dissemination potential.

The 12 projects which were recently selected to be presented in the pitching session and which will compete for the prize are the following:

The name of the winning project will be revealed during the Forum’s closing ceremony, which will take place on the evening of 28th September.

Also, during the same ceremony, we will disclose the name of the winner of the Treeline Prize for distribution and festivals consultancy.

Registration is open to attend as a member of the audience to the presentation of the projects as well as to the parallel activities which will take place along the day.
